For a copilot you can attach a SharePoint knowledge source to narrow down information within your organization that can
be used by your copilot to provide a response to user query.

 At present, you can configure a SharePoint site (Document library) to be used as a grounding data for your copilot.

The SharePoint configuration is only available for authenticated users within your organization. The SharePoint site URL which
you can configure must not be more than 2 levels deep.

The steps for configuring SharePoint site as a
knowledge source for copilot consists of following steps:

1.       Create App Registration in Microsoft Azure

2.      Generate Client Secret

3.      Add Redirect URI

4.     Add API permission – Grant Admin consent to permission

5.      Navigate to Copilot Settings > Security and set the client ID, secret and scope generated using the above
steps

Generate Client Secret and note it down

Add Redirect URI

Add API permission – Grant Admin consent to permission

Expose an API by adding scopes

Navigate to Copilot Settings > Security and set the client ID, secret and scope generated using the above steps

Navigate to your Copilot and under Knowledge, add the SharePoint site by clicking on ‘Add Knowledge’ button and selecting SharePoint sites in the window shown.
